A Journey Inspired by Ireland's Landscape

Sdeffewasdf began in 2019 when founder Siobhán O'Sullivan, a biochemist with a passion for natural skin care, decided to combine her scientific knowledge with her love for Ireland's natural resources.

After spending years studying the therapeutic properties of native plants and minerals, Siobhán created a line of soaps that would not only cleanse but also nourish the skin using ingredients harvested from Ireland's diverse landscape.

What started as small batches sold at local farmers' markets has grown into a respected artisanal soap brand, but our commitment to quality, sustainability, and authentic Irish ingredients remains unchanged.

Today, our workshop in Dublin produces limited quantities of handcrafted soaps using the traditional cold process method. This technique preserves the natural glycerin and active properties of our ingredients, creating a genuinely nourishing product that respects both your skin and our environment.

Atlantic Seaweed

Harvested sustainably from Ireland's western coastline, our seaweed varieties include:

Local Goat Milk

Sourced from small family farms in County Wicklow, our goat milk comes from herds raised with ethical animal husbandry practices and free-range grazing on Ireland's lush pastures.

Irish goat milk is particularly prized for its:

Zero-Waste Packaging

Our packaging is completely plastic-free and designed to either biodegrade naturally or be repurposed. We use recycled paper wrapping, cardboard boxes, paper tape, and seed paper labels that can be planted to grow wildflowers.

Water Conservation

Our workshop implements strict water conservation practices, from rainwater collection to water recycling systems. The cold process method we use requires minimal water compared to industrial soap production.

Community Support

We donate a percentage of our profits to Irish environmental conservation projects, with a particular focus on protecting our coastal ecosystems and peatland preservation initiatives.
